The Rodwell Trail is a short Weymouth walk following the coast around the Weymouth side of Portland Harbour between the Portland Breakwater and Chesil beach, the Rodwell Trail is one of the best Weymouth walks to do and is an easy walk for some excellent Weymouth sightseeing - you will see sights such as the ruined Sandsfoot castle, the small sandy Weymouth beach at Castle Cove and wonderful views across Portland harbour and the Portland Breakwaters. The Rodwell trail is one of the many Walks around Weymouth worth noting, other Weymouth walks include those along the Esplanade from Weymouth Pier to Bowleaze Coveway, Walks around the harbour and the nature walks around Radipole lake.
The Weymouth picture here shows a small part of the Weymouth beach just off the Rodwell trail inside Portland Harbour. Castle cove beach and Ferrybridge beach are other small sandy Weymouth beaches on this side of Weymouth.
